🎬 The Mission

Storyline is a non-profit production company that builds power through story and strategy. We are seeking an Audience Engagement Intern to support the community-building and engagement efforts for Homegrown, our award-winning documentary that just won a 2026 duPont-Columbia Award for outstanding reporting for the public good.

Homegrown follows three conservatives as they join a widening conflict over identity, power, and the future of American democracy. Filmed between 2018 and 2025 with on-the-ground scenes of January 6, the film provides rare insight into this moment in America and what led us here.

Your role is to help build our audience and support the team in using Homegrown as a catalyst for necessary conversations across the political spectrum.

  • Organize and Maintain Data: Maintain and update databases of contacts, partners, conferences, events, and press coverage; and track engagement data and prepare basic reports for the team.

  • Social Media & Digital Organizing: Draft content for our Instagram and support digital campaigns to reach new audiences; and identity potential partners and opportunities for growth.

  • Media Creation: Assist with graphic design and video editing tasks for our partners and Instagram.
